As of v4.0, this should not be happening anymore.
We're still investigating this one. If you run into this issue and are willing to submit your logs to us for analysis, let us know. If you simply want to fix this problem, these commands will do it, but you will lose your long-term data.
sudo service pihole-FTL stop
sudo mv /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db_
sudo service pihole-FTL start

UPDATE: I fixed this using info found in another post.
I renamed the /etc/pihole/pihole-FTL.db file then did a pihole -r and chose the repair option.

I am having the same issue here. I have two versions of Pihole - one running on Ubuntu mate 16.04 which has dnsmasq 2.75 and one running under Raspbian. On the Ubuntu mate installation, my admin console is completely blank under 3.3.
