i'd like this too but i found out unfortunately that the option "min-cache-ttl" is not supported in the version of dnsmasq that comes packaged with debian jessie / raspbian jessie, which is 2.72. "min-cache-ttl" is supported from 2.73+.
Raspbian stretch has Dnsmasq version 2.7. I'm unable to find an EOL date for jessie. It would be nice to have this feature. This super-short TTL pattern most sites are following kills performance on cheap hardware like a pi
Fortunately, this is not a problem with FTLDNS. However, as this is quite advanced DNS tuning (which can cause issues when the TTL is set low for good reasons!) you should do it in a custom config file in /etc/dnsmasq.d
. This will then also survive Pi-hole updates.
There is now a global config that can change the TTL for blocked queries.
