I would like to be able to enter a dot server address in the GUI as an alternative. At the moment i have to go via my router. Will such a function be available in the future ?
No one interrested in this great feature ?

Given that pi-hole is based on dnsmasq, which I don't think directly supports DOT, it probably wouldn't be possible. Most folks use a 'stub' of some sort to do TLS, which would have to be manually configured and not in the admin ui.
