I saw a post about a travel Pi-Hole with a TPLink AC750 so built my own and am using it right now. It works great! (I can’t put the user in as a reference since new here in the forum, but wanted to give credit to JFB and thank them for the information that led me to make my own. 
)
I drew up a case for the combo that includes a fan if anyone is interested and has a 3D printer or access to one.

The box has space for a 40x40x10mm fan as well but it doesn’t seem to really need one. Temps stay reasonable.
Anyway, just in case anyone wants to/is doing this and needs a box.
Thanks so much for Pi-Hole. I love the extra security and blocking all sorts of unwanted things.
