If a click on "whitelist a domain" in action for a recent query, this withelisted domain would be alined to a choosable group-list. (same for blacklist). This may lead to fewer clicks.
If it is always the same non-default group or an additionally group you could play around with the database triggers to automatically add new domains to a specific group until this feature might be implemented. For inspiration see here:
