I wanted to do an FTL update. But that always comes an error:
[✗] Update local cache of available packages
Error: Unable to update package cache. Please try "sudo apt-get update"
Unable to complete update, please contact Pi-hole Support
And sudo apt-get update does not work either
Does anyone have an idea
When trying to update, I get the following error:

I tried sudo apt-get update and tried running pihole -up again, but the same error.
It appears that FTL is the only issue, as when I try the update now, I receive:
$ pihole -up

[i] Pi-hole Core: up to date
[i] Web Interface: up to …

How old is your OS if you are running kernel 3.18.11? It is likely no longer supported.
EDIT: Based on the kernel and the date of April 2015, I'm guessing it is Jessie. Jessie left LTS on 30th June 2020. The following release Stretch used kernel 4.9.

What is the error you get when you run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get full-upgrade?
