Pihole GUI not updating stats

Hey guys, I´m new here and have a question:

Expected Behaviour:

-Updating the stats on GUI

Actual Behaviour:

All counters are set to 0
Total queries...etc

I found different solutions but nothing worked for me, including these:

Remove the line log-queries=extra from /etc/dnsmasq.d/01-pihole.conf

PiHole-FTL Lost Connection to API

I recently updated PiHole and ever since then the web interface reports FTL is offline. I get lost connection to API across the top where the graphs are. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, switching over to the dev channel. I found a few commands to run after the uninstall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sudo service pihole-FTL restart

I tried to install php5-json but its installed.

I got the data directly from the API and everything is 0

If you ping flurry.com (from the raspberry pi terminal) does it resolve into your Pi-hole IP ?

Pi-hole v3.3 and v3.3.1 are not supported on Jessie:

Update: 2018-08-06 As of v4.0, Pi-hole ships with _FTL_DNS, our fork of dnsmasq, which should restore compatibility with Raspbian Jessie. We still recommend installing a newer OS as Jessie is EOL anyway. By default, Raspbian Jessie only supports dnsmasq v2.72, which does not work with the log-queries=extra flag, which is required for Pi-hole v3.3+. • Install or update to Raspbian Stretch
• Update dnsmasq to a version > 2.72
• Join the FTLDNS beta
• Downgrade to an older version of Pi-hole
