PiHole 5: Client Group Management ipv6

Quick question (hopefully).

My clients have both ipv4 and ipv6 addresses. When I setup the client to group relationship in Client Management, do I need to create an entry for the client on both their ipv4 address and ipv6 address?

I ask, because when I look, it appears some of my clients change ipv6 addresses (and pihole on the Network page will list many ipv6 addresses per client).

Yes you do. Or you try this maybe unstable branch allowing you to make client assignments based on MAC.

Started this topic to provide feedback to the new feature allowing clients to be defined by MAC address. I switched to the branches (core still master) by pihole checkout ftl new/mac_clients pihole checkout web new/mac_clients And flushed network table afterwards. Important First thing I noticed in Group management/Clients Known Clients now only contain clients with known MAC, no IPs are listed anymore (I have devices on other Vlans so IP would still be handy).
