More than 2 DNS servers?

Would it be possible to have an 'Add' button in the gui settings page for dns servers so you can add as many as you like?
I find that different times of day different servers respond better - it would be good if i could list say 6 servers without using Unbound

Should be simple to implement? im sure theres a config file one could edit but be nice in the GUI for the regular user

You can already add as many servers as you like to. Do you mean you want more than the four custom DNS server fields?

In the absence of this feature, you can edit file /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf and add as many DNS servers as you like. Then restart pihole-FTL.

Follow the existing format and add additional lines as needed.

PIHOLE_DNS_1=9.9.9.11
PIHOLE_DNS_2=149.112.112.11
...

There is no GUI option to set this. Shouldn't be too difficult to add.

Hello all, Currently I have pi-hole querying 8 local stubbys that are listening on 8 separate local ports doing dns over tls. I then have the stubbys piped through 8 separate tors. I can easily accomplish adding all of the extra local nameservers(server= entries) to a separate dnsmasq.d file and it happily makes it's way and works well. But, I was thinking it would be nice to be able to have a simple "add another dns server" selection in pi-hole to be able to add as many as are desired instead …
