Installing packages stuck at 100% (Ubuntu 18.04)

Fresh ubuntu server 18.04 install. All I’ve done is update installed packages and then when running the install command for pihole it gets stuck at installing packages. No error or anything, it just sits there. Tried leaving it overnight to no avail. Tried reinstalling ubuntu completely as well which didn’t work

New installation failure (Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS)
Cannot get pihole to run, either on Docker or normal install (Ubuntu 18.04)

Can you share the output of the install? A package might require some configuration during install, so also try installing the dependencies manually then run the install again.

What do you mean by output of the install? The install never finishes

Where would I find the dependencies? Sorry, fairly new to *nix

#4

After you run the install script, post the output of the script from start to when it fails.

#5

Like with a screen capture? It doesn’t actually fail per se, it just hangs and doesn’t ever move on from there
