Anyone know how to stress test my dns? I can’t seem to get dnsblast installed so any other methods ?
What is your goal here? Just to see how much it can handle, or are you having a specific problem you want to investigate?
Just want to play around with it tbh, no specific reason
There are so many things to take into account, not the least of which is the goal of the test. Depending on your configurations and set up, caching, rate limiting and a slew of other factors can come into play. Even with a moderately simple pi-hole set up (no unbound, public upstream), the ecosystem is complex and contains things to help mitigate what your test might seek to achieve.
