Try these ones:

grep -v '^#\|^$' /etc/dhcpcd.conf

grep 'IPV[4,6]_ADDRESS\|PIHOLE_INTERFACE' /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

sudo grep -v '^#\|^$' -R /etc/dnsmasq.*

Have you tried running reconfigure already ?
Last time I remember you mixed them up

EDIT: networking looks good (ip a + dhcpcd.conf)

#129

Yes, ran it already…was the first thing I did going back to Square 1.

#130

Ok lets kick here again as I dont know why its clinging onto eth0:

sudo sed -i 's/PIHOLE_INTERFACE=eth0/PIHOLE_INTERFACE=wlan0/' /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

And run repair this time:

echo 'nameserver 8.8.8.8' | sudo tee /etc/resolv.conf

pihole -r

And check afterwards:

grep 'IPV[4,6]_ADDRESS\|PIHOLE_INTERFACE' /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

sudo grep -v '^#\|^$' -R /etc/dnsmasq.*

nslookup pi.hole 10.1.1.3

#131

pi@PiHole:~ $ sudo sed -i ‘s/PIHOLE_INTERFACE=eth0/PIHOLE_INTERFACE=wlan0/’ /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf
pi@PiHole:~ $

does not run…have I copied it correctly?

#132

That command outputs nothing if it runs successfull

#133

Ah.,…OK…Got it!

#134

pi@PiHole:~ $ grep ‘IPV[4,6]_ADDRESS|PIHOLE_INTERFACE’ /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf
PIHOLE_INTERFACE=wlan0
IPV4_ADDRESS=10.1.1.3/24

AT LAST!!

#137

Go switch DHCP and test with one client!!!

#138

So switch off DHCP on my router and check with a machine which is not this one?

#140

Copying/pasting tricky again.
See below:

#141

OK, had to switch to my Chromebook as my main pc (which runs a wired connection) will not longer connect. I have tried www.speedtest.net on this Chromebook but it does not work. I cannot get onto the PiHole on the main pc either…so I will have to try and set up some ssh on this machine to access it…but mostly I need to get my main PC back.

#142

OK, reset the DHCP on my router using the Chromebook and now back on main PC.
