YouTube keeps repeating the same ad on my iPad

Has anyone else noticed a highly annoying side effect with YouTube on iOS? It seems that whatever YouTube does to slide adverts in even though their ad servers are blocked gets hideously confused on my iPad to the point it shows the same advert at every ad break?

Currently my iPad is obsessed with showing me the Pixel 6 advert for every ad slot. So if I watch a video where they’ve gone overboard with midroll ads I might see the exact same advert multiple times.

I’m not necessarily looking for a fix (although if there is one…) more just confirmation it’s not just me.

Doesn’t happen on my Roku or Android phone. They show various adverts like normal (but since I must be blocking something they show totally irrelevant ones which is kind of amusing)

How are you blocking YT ad servers? There is no reliable way to do this with Pi-hole.

I would suggest you not watch YouTube with their app. The ads are baked into the app.

I would, also, suggest you use the Brave Browser, if the, ridiculous, amount of ads YouTube delivers (trying to get you to subscribe) annoys you.

On a side note:

When I, once, used my niece's phone to watch YouTube, it was a lot of bra ads. When all I got was Infinity sport car ads. So, no: it is not just you. You have been targeted.

Pi-hole along with The Brave browser blocks all ads on YouTube.

Just try it.

The best answer is: do not use their app.

And to further the help, I expounded on a better solution.
I apologize if I went, slightly, off-topic in the hope of providing the best solution I know of that you also know.
