Youtube ad blocking?

Hi there.

I just installed pihole on a good old rpi1 with the sole purpose of blocking youtube ads on my oculus quest, where I don't have the option to use a software adblocker.

Can't seem to get it to work? I have been trying to search for answers, but most of what I can find is years old discussions. Can it be done in September 2020, and if yes, then how and if no, then why not?

If you would have done your searching before asking the same question that has been asked and answered a dozen times then we'd all have been better off.
