I'm not sure is this is the right place to ask.
but this morning I noticed that when my android phone is charging it tries to connect to logx.optimizely.com
every few seconds, all those requests are blocked. and as soon as I stop charging the requests stop as well.
No I have 2 questions.
How can I check in which addList this specific url is listed? I can't find it in the log.
and does anyone have any idea which app those requests come from?
I know this last part is not really a pi-hole question. Still I hope someone knows.
not sure if androiddump would be of use to you. worth a look.
Use "Tools/Query Lists"
I have android devices on my network which have this same behaviour. When plugged in to charge they generate an enormous amount of blocked traffic to logx.optimizely.com
In terms of statistics, it is 3x more attempts than the next highest domain mobile.pipe.aria.microsoft.com
I'm only using the default block list - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/StevenBlack/hosts/master/hosts
No answers here (yet) but I'm curious if someone breaks out wireshark and tries to figure out which app. FWIW - not every android device does this, so it's a specific app(s) installed on one of the devices.
