Where can i find the token (i mean the one in the url like: &token=...)

title says all, i just want to know wehre i can find the file wehre the token used to auth in the webinterface is stored

/etc/pihole/setupVars.conf

It is in /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf.

On your pihole device, use this: grep 'WEBPASSWORD' /etc/pihole/setupVars.conf and it should print it out for you.

i mean the following:
http://pi.hole/admin/scripts/pi-hole/php/groups.php?action=add_group&name=ysflkc&desc=test&token=fZf0Gpj3jc9Gn5bOlXn%2FJu1vVpnF%2FWYxOEO%2B%2BFPuN5w%3D. where can i find that token?

The token is in the file that was specified in a reply above.

Please post a screen capture of what you are seeing on your screen regarding the token. In this forum, you can paste images directly into a reply.

Your web password is listed in the display you show.

Where are you having difficulty with the token on the web GUI? A screen shot of that would be helpful.

The web API token can be accessed via Settings|API, by clicking Show API token.

the token that is used to do something is a different one then the api token
