website still detecting adblock despite being on the whitelist

hello everyone,

ive recently installed a pihole setup on my network using a pi zero 2 w connected over ethernet.

this is the first time ive done anything close to this so im completely new to this and dont know much although id say i learned quite alot by setting this up.

the problem that i have now is that the pihole triggers the anti adblock from the website "aternos.org" (yes i have checked if its the pihole or another adblocker, disabling the pihole temporarily and solely using ublock origin works fine). now i put aternos.org on the whitelist and that did nothing im still getting the "youre using an adblocker!" popup.

anyone know how to fix this?

The domain used to check that if you are using an adblocker is not this domain.

Use these tools to see which domains are loaded when you access that site, and one of them will be the one that is used for this check.

Note that if you whitelist that domain, you will likely open yourself up to ads from that site.
