Had you read the official announcement for a major upgrade from v5 to v6. Introducing Pi-hole v6 - Announcements - Pi-hole Userspace. You would have followed the recommended and do a back-up before the upgrade. You would be happy running V5 now instead of posting criticism and not giving mod and dev a chance help you.
