Using Pi-hole as DNS or DHCP with Ivacy VPN in router

Has anyone have this experience? I have Ivacy VPN setup in my router and I'm wondering whether Pi-hole as DNS will work or not. If not, will configuring Pi-hole as a DHCP server work for my setup?

What I basically wanted to achieve are:

  • IP privacy using VPN on my home network (using Ivacy pptp in my router).
  • Ad blocking using Pi-hole using a raspberry pi zero w.

VPN in my router is setup and working properly. Pi-hole is setup and also working properly. I just can't get them to work together. Right now, I'm stuck with choosing either one. Pls help if you know the solution. Thanks!
