For testing surposes I installed pi-hole on my debian system. The pi-hole got the static ip-adress 192.168.2.101. Now I bought a raspberry pi zero w to extend the pi-hole to the whole network. The raspberry pi hast the static ip adress 192.168.2.102. I have two devices: My pc which uses a dualboot windows/debian system and my mobile phone. I uninstalled pi-hole on the pc because i dont need it anymore (because i have the raspberry pi zero running it now). On the questions if I wanna remove also xxx I always answered no because i didnt know what i would remove there and if i could remove it without facing problems because the names sounded very generic and not specific pi-hole related. the pi is also acts as dhcp server. i assigned the following ip adresses to my devices:
192.168.2.222 for my pc
192.168.2.234 for my smartphone.
the problem im facing now is that in the query log the pc still shows up as 192.168.2.101 even when the network settings in debian say clearly its 192.168.2.222. when i type 192.168.2.101 into my browser a Placeholder page shows up. so i think i did not uninstall every component of the pihole (maybe webserver?) properly.
Here is the script for Pi-Hole uninstall. This shows the specific files and software that are removed if you do a complete uninstall.
