Uninstalled lighttpd - SSH connection refused - am I borked?

Hi,

As title, I uninstalled lighttpd, as I understood this was a method of falling back to HTTP only, as I have no need for secure HTTPS on my home network.

I can no longer SSH into my pi-hole to make any changes. Connection is refused.

It pings, and works as expected. Web console is fine on HTTP port 80.

Have I borked it and locked myself out, or is there a fix?

Unfortunately, the device (Orange Pi Zero running Debian) has no HDMI, so I can’t easily connected a keyboard locally, and importantly see what I’m doing.

Thanks.

In version 5 of Pi-hole, lighttpd was the web server that served the web admin GUI. In version 6, lighttpd is no longer used and the webserver is embedded in FTL. Since you report a functioning web admin GUI, it appears you are running V6 of Pi-hole.

The ssh process is part of the underlying OS, and not part of Pi-hole.
