Unbound Forwarding Mode.

The issue I am facing:
The unbound Recursive Resolver mode is described here (unbound - Pi-hole documentation) but I also want to use it as Forwarding Mode and I also want to enable the dot feature.

I couldn't find an easy explanation anywhere, can somebody help me?
