If you are not using IPV6 within your network, unbound will fail to start.
Can be fixed by
do-ip6: no
in the config file.

Thanks, I'll edit the wiki article when I can. IPv6 isn't essential for the configuration.

With do-ip6: yes i get the following:
error: can't bind socket: Cannot assign requested address for ::1
same thing for removing the whole line.
changing to no starts unbound without any issues.
removing the yes/no is outputting:
Sorry for not having been explicit, I mean what happens if you remove the entire line (so nothing with do-ip6
at all).
It fails (commenting it also will prevent unbound from starting).
I think unbound is depended on that instruction.
