Unable to use “access-control” in Unbound

Hey guys, I’m having an issue with a compiled Unbound Version 1.10.1 (Latest Release). I’ve setup the server config to allow access control on Unbound and I’m getting SSL handshake errors. I have checked the config file for errors and none are present. I also ran access-control-setup on Unbound and all keys and certs were generated successfully. Upon issuing a command like “unbound-control reload” I get a SSL handshake fail error: 1416F086. I’ve searched online and the documentation on the Unbound site is pretty thorough, but nothing on this specific error.

Raspberry Pi 4 w/PiHole, Unbound, and PiVPN.

Hello. Thanks for chiming in. Yes, all the certs are in place, I figured out my problem. Small oversight, but crucial nonetheless. Under the access-control settings I had the 10.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.0 IP ranges setup, but I didn’t have my local 192.168.0.0 IP range setup so I was getting the SSL and unable to open ports errors. After adding the Local IP Range there, I was able to issue commands like cache_dump and cache_reload without issues. Thanks for chiming un nonetheless.
