Expected Behaviour:

pihole -up to succeed. :slight_smile:

Actual Behaviour:

[i] Installing blocking page...
[✓] Creating directory for blocking page, and copying files
[✗] Backing up index.lighttpd.html
No default index.lighttpd.html file found... not backing up

[i] Preparing to run gravity.sh to refresh hosts...
[i] Running gravity.sh
[i] Neutrino emissions detected...
[✗] Pulling blocklist source list into range
[✓] Cleaning up stray matter
[✓] DNS service is running
[✓] Pi-hole blocking is Enabled

Unable to complete update, please contact Pi-hole Support

pi@pihole:~ $ pihole -up
[i] Checking for updates...
[i] Pi-hole Core: up to date
[i] FTL: up to date
[i] Web Interface: up to date

[✓] Everything is up to date!

However after a reboot my web UI still says Update Available.

OS details:
pi@pihole:~ $ uname -a
Linux pihole 4.9.80+ #1098 Fri Mar 9 18:51:28 GMT 2018 armv6l GNU/Linux

Ok problem found, for reasons that are unknown to me yet, my pi-hole had decided to un-select all the list sources and that borged it, selecting all sources and running pihole -g did it.

Did that and yet my Web UI still shows 3.2 but pihole -v shows 3.3.

Give your browser some time or delete your browser cache and refresh the site.

You are right, should have tried an incognito window, which I just did, all is good now.
