The issue I am facing:
I have installed PiHole on multiple occasions and each time, I am unable to access the admin interface on a computer (in my LAN) that PiHole isn't installed on. I am incredibly new to "Pi anything," and am probably missing something simple.
Details about my system:
It is a Dell Optiplex 3090 dedicated Ubuntu workstation. Open SSH is installed on the workstation. I am able to SSH into the workstation. Lighttpd is actively running.
What I have changed since installing Pi-hole:
I have changed the permissions on the on the /var/log/lighttpd file, so it is accessible to www-data as instructed in this link ( Pihole running, but can't access admin page - #10 by gregsdennis )
I have restarted the lighttpd service multiple times.
I have tried to run a "repair," on pi-hole.
As a side note, I am able to ping the IP address of the PiHole, and I am able to ping "pi.hole." I can access the pihole interface on the device it IS installed on.
I don't know if this makes a difference, but my router is unable to change any DNS settings, as it mentions in my routers model forum on their website. (AT&T)
