Only deactivating the pihole grants the expected behavior of the site trakt.tv. All other factors like script blockers etc have been eliminated.
It looks like you tried to enter an entire URL to one of your local lists, but I assume it was resolved since trakt.tv ended up in your whitelist.

Edit: The entry you picked up was a second attempt to get through the pihole (and wasn't a valid URL, as stated), the trakt.tv URL was already whitelisted and didn't work, so I tried...
