Teleporter: The PHP extension zip is not loaded

Recently upgraded p-hole to v2.13, web interface v2.5. My pi-hole install is on Ubuntu 16.10 VM, not a raspi.

Under settings for pi-hole teleporter, I receive:

"The PHP extension zip is not loaded. Please ensure it is installed and loaded if you want to use the Pi-hole teleporter."

Any idea how I can fix this?

sudo apt-get install php-zip

I have installed. Do I need to reboot server or restart any services? Refreshing page still says it's missing.

Yes, try

sudo service lighttpd restart

if that does not work, restart the whole machine
