Synology Install/Whitelist Not Working

I have followed the instructions to install on my Synology NAS found here;

How do I install Pi-hole on a Synology NAS?

I can access the pi-hole web interface on http://server-ip:port but when i login see the error.

`Failed CORS: http://192.168.0.250:1024 vs http://192.168.0.250, http://192.168.0.250, http://pi.hole, http://localhost`

I can go back a page, refresh and all options appear so i thought great slight niggle ill look at finding a fix later....

After testing on a couple of my own devices I changed DNS on all household devices shortly after the wife said she had problems accessing some deal website 'popups'.

I tried to add the link and referee link to the whitelist but when i do

Adding to the whitelist > Success the list will refresh

But when it does the entire doesn't appear in the Whitelist only the preconfigured entries remain.

Does anybody know what the issue could be here?

One of my messages in the thread you referenced should solve your problem. Your problem is related to running the web user interface on a non-standard port (i.e. not 80). We changed our security policy lately to also allow custom ports.

Note, that you can also whitelist domains using the command line interface (CLI):

sudo pihole -w abd.ce def.com ghr.co.uk

That seams to have solved it thank you @DL6ER for your help.

You're welcome. Thanks for using Pi-hole!
