Strange Version Number after Update

Hello everybody,
I´ve updated Pi-hole from version 4.2.2 after long time with "pihole -up" and now after the Update I get:

  • Pi-hole version is v4.2.2-2-gb3898b9 (Latest: v4.2.2)
  • AdminLTE version is v4.2-2-g8f3ed415 (Latest: v4.2)
  • FTL version is v4.2.3 (Latest: v4.2.3).

Is that correct?

As far as I remember parts like gb3898b9 and g8f3ed415 in the versions have something to do with Git commits. In most cases you can ignore this.

You have the current versions:

Pi-hole version is v4.2.2-2-gb3898b9 (Latest: v4.2.2)
AdminLTE version is v4.2-2-g8f3ed415 (Latest: v4.2)
FTL version is v4.2.3 (Latest: v4.2.3).

The longer version number causes a Misaglinment on the Display by PADD!

Should be improved in PADD then. The output in the Pi-hole web interface is better and correct:

Pi-hole Version v4.2.2 Web Interface Version v4.2 FTL Version v4.2.3

Yes I can confirm. In the Pi-hole GUI is correct displayed. :+1:
