Ssl certificate for pi-hole

hey i was just wondering how do i get certificate for pi hole when it isn't a domain i don't understand all the certificate and i would appreciate it if you could help me thanks

You don't need an SSL certificate for Pi-hole. What are you trying to do that requires one?

so i use my pihole on my vpn and alot of my friends at school use my vpn and whenever i try to access my pihole i wouldnt want my school to just know my login details
