Search Engine Blocklist

Does anyone have or know of a good search engine blocklist? Ideally I would block all other search engines except those that have a configurable dns safe search option, such as Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, etc.

Being a Pfsense user have a look at Shalla's blacklist here http://www.shallalist.de/. Download link is on the right under "About the lists". Extract the tar.gz file and you will see the list categorized. Navigate to shallalist > BL > searchengines and open "domains" file in a text editor. You should see a comprehensive list of search engines.

If you could implement this as a blocklist in pi-hole with Safe Search that would be fantastic. Thanks.

Thanks! I will add that to my to-do list. Would it be efficient for me to run a cron job on my servers to extract the domains every once in a while, and then push it to GitHub? I could redesign the script to get everything from GitHub and it would save some time :slight_smile:
