Router forces DHCPv6, iOS forces IPv6 results in PiHole not being used

My router (CH7465VF) auto-updated recently and now forces DHCPv6 usage. I can switch between stateful and stateless but can't disable it nor can I define rules for static IPv6 addresses. The iOS devices I use can't disable IPv6. As a result, all iOS devices use the IPv6 DNS of my ISP as provided via DHCPv6 and no ads are blocked.

Is there any other option to solve this that does not involve flashing my router, adding another WLAN-router or adding configuration profiles to each iOS device?

Thanks in advance!

Likely, your router will also advertise DNS server IPv6 addresses for clients that use SLAAC, but that doesn't change the answer.

You'd have to find a way to configure your router to advertise your Pi-hole host machine's IPv6 as DNS server or stop advertising its own.

You'd have to consult your router's documentation sources on further details for its IPv6 configuration options.

If your router doesn't support configuring IPv6 DNS, you could consider disabling IPv6 altogether.

If your router doesn't support that either, your clients will be able to bypass Pi-hole via IPv6.
