Roadmap: Are there plans to migrate the Web UI to AdminLTE v4?

Now that Pi-hole v6 is out in the wild with its fantastic new embedded API/web server architecture, the frontend is feeling faster than ever.

I recently saw the release of AdminLTE v4.0.0 on GitHub: Release v4.0.0 · ColorlibHQ/AdminLTE · GitHub.

Since the Pi-hole development team has already done incredible work refactoring legacy dependencies for v6, AdminLTE v4 seems like a natural target for the project's long-term frontend modernization.

I would love to know if there is a long-term roadmap or interest in migrating pi-hole/web from AdminLTE v3 to AdminLTE v4 soon?

This is a question, not really a Feature Request.

We plan to update the web interface, but there is no timeline.

The current web interface is based on AdminLTE v2.4, but there are many "custom" elements and CSS rules that are not present on the original AdminLTE theme, so a migration to a new theme will probably need a lot of work.

Also, we still don't know if we will use AdminLTE or something else.

Very interesting! I look forward to seeing how things evolves.
