Reconfigure of Pi Hole as a recursive DNS server after pihole -r subnet change?

G'day

I did change my flat and in the new one my ISP got me a new IP subnet.
If I change IP and Gateway config with pihole -r, do I also need to reconfigure the Pi-hole as a recursice DNS server section ? Redirecting...

Or will this recursice DNS server stuff not change when I do a pihole -r ?

No. As long as the Pi can connect to the internet, unbound will work with no configuration changes, independent of the IP address of the Pi-Hole host.

If I do a pihole -r and try to set 127.0.0.1#5353 in the dns section I get the answer this is an invalid DNS server adress.

So I first have to set another ip adress in this config section and later in the admin webpage I have to reconfigure then dns to 127.0.0.1#5353 for usagee of recursive DNS server.

So this looks like a bug in pihole -r configuration
