Just need some recommended sites to use for ad-listing currently i used a blog from cross talk solutions to setup pi-hole on Raspberry pi3# and i am using some of the URL links from the site firebug

I'm really not sure that there is a recommended set of ad block lists to use, let alone ones tied to a particular year.
My suggestion would be to use the default list, and perhaps any others that are maintained on a regular basis. A lot of lists overlap, so there is likely a point of diminishing returns. Also, you may start finding that you incorporate a list that blocks some content you may want to see, but the list creator does not.
