Recently had to upgrade cable router to a Netgear night hawk. I finally got everything working except my wireless Raspi. II went through the raspi-config and set the new ssid and password. I also put it's IP dns into the router. However I can't access the internet even though it says it's connected via ifconfig wlan0 and according to: sudo nano /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf, it has the right ssid and password. Any suggestions. I don't see a place to attach images. TIA

Please upload a debug log and post just the token that is generated after the log is uploaded by running the following command from the Pi-hole host terminal:
pihole -d
or do it through the Web interface:

Unrelated to this problem, but you have a bit of a mess in your domains - it appears that you entered adlist URLs in there at one time. Delete all these entries, including the regex at the bottom that won't work since they include parts of URLs that will never appear in domains (https://)

I had to run an ethernet cable to upload the debug log you requested. Before cable co installed the new equipment, everything was working. I used to log into it on 192.168.0.37 but now nothing, even with ethernet connect.
Noticed something. This netgear router has an app and in it has a devide list. The raspberry shows it connected to the router. But I can't pull it up from the pc
That's an indicator of a wlan connection problem. Try the following with the ethernet cable connected:
Run pihole -r and select the reconfigure option, then select the ethernet interface and IP for Pi-hole.
Disable wifi using sudo raspi-config
Change the DNS assignment on the LAN DHCP server settings on the router to the ethernet IP for the Pi.
Renew all client DHCP leases.
Same response. Even on the rasp pi setup.
I can get on the web within raspi web browser with the attached monitor and keyboard but I can't remotely. I might just pull the plug and start from scratch, unless you have any ideas. Thank you though, either way!
Ok, I have an interesting update. I have gotten Pihole web gui to come up on the raspi web page. My router came with an app. In the app you can pull up a list of devices connected to it through wired/wireless. It shows the raspi as one of the connected devices. However, when I try to pull it up via a different PC, mobile phone that's also connected to the router it's response is, "this site can't be reached." I disable Pihole to see if that was doing in, no.
It has to be related to the router as it's the only thing that new. Even when I connect it through ethernet it's the same. Any ideas?
I don't use that router model, so can't provide any specific help.

I use Apple Airport Extremes. Nice routers, but obsolete and no longer made by Apple.
Spent the whole day with Netgear support to determine the router is bad. Got another one coming from Amazon. Can't set the dns to point to the raspberry or Synology. Not going to bother you with this anymore as I' m tired of getting into things that work and then don't. Thank you for what you did you. We tried
