It appears this is due to my dnsmasq version. However, I am having issues upgrading my version. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Assuming you’re using Jessie, you can attempt to upgrade dnsmasq
Update: 2018-08-06
As of v4.0, Pi-hole ships with _FTL_DNS, our fork of dnsmasq, which should restore compatibility with Raspbian Jessie. We still recommend installing a newer OS as Jessie is EOL anyway.
Please note that this tutorial is only meant for Rasbian Jessie, although it might (to some extend) also help with similar issues on other Debian versions. Do this at your own risk (however, the likeliness of a failure is rather small in our opinion).
First step: Download more recent versio…
Or downgrade Pi-hole:
if you want to run a different version of Pi-hole, it is possible to install an older version. Typically, we release all three components of Pi-hole at the same time (Core, Web, and FTL), so you'll usually want to install version from the same "release."
For example, we ran into some issues with v3.3 and dnsmasq compatibility with some systems, so some users needed to revert to v3.2.1 (Core and Web) but as part of the 3.2.1 "release," the latest version of FTL was 2.13.2.
Because we version e…

I have attempted to upgrade my dnsmasq using the first option but I am on a AMD64 version. It keeps failing due to that. So I tried to use the AMD64 version from that repo but it asks for prerequisites. "libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.9.14) "libhogweed4", "libnettle6"
I'm not entirely sure how to proceed installing these packages. Are you able to aid with this?
I updated dnsmasq on Raspian and verified it installed and it was the right version. Query log page show's no results, and a "processing..." box is permanently plastered over the column heading boxes. I'm running 3.3 and it seems to be screening ads just fine.
Debug token is: k6f4gziio4.
Thanks.
Did you flush your browser cache?
We often see users with broken Web interfaces after updating Pi-hole but it has also appeared during regular usage. The symptoms include:
the Web interface has endless spinning indicators
the Web interface looks distorted
the query log is stuck on Processing
none of the Web interface stats load
The solution in most cases is to flush your Web browser's cache or service pihole-FTL restart
