when i try to connect to the pihole via google chrome, i only get to a placeloader page and not to the actual page of the pihole.

What is the complete URL you are using to access the Pi-hole web admin GUI?
Also, please generate a debug log, upload the log when prompted and post the token URL here.
I have tried to access the gui via http://192.268.278.55/admin, but I have also entered the ip of my pi once, when I try to log in via http://192.268.278.55/admin, then comes only an error message "This page is not available".
But if I just log in using the ip, then I end up on the placeloader page.

The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) reserves the following IP address blocks for use as private IP addresses:
- 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255
- 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
- 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255

Of course you are not able to access the web interface using 192.268.278.55. This is not a valid IP!
IPs have 4 parts (usually called octets) separated by dots. Each octet varies from 0 to 255.
This address is not an IP: 268 and 278 are not valid IP octets.

Which URL are you using when you get the placeholder page? Are you including /admin?
