Is anyone successfully running PiHole with the eero mesh wifi? I have gotten it to when I check ipconfig all that it shows my DNS server is the static IP I set PiHole to. However, I don't not have any internet access. I am by no means an expert so I am sure I am missing something obvious. Thanks for any that anyone can offer.
Check for some setting called "DNS Rebind/Relay Protection". That will stop local DNS servers from being used.
Thanks for your response. I have not found "DNS Rebind/Relay Protection" settings in the eero router. Played with it for about 2 more hours tonight with no luck. To say I am frustrated is and understatement LOL.
If you can disable DHCP, then you can enable it on the Pi-hole and the correct settings will be sent to your clients.
Yeah I thought of that too but there is no apparent way to disable DHCP.
Do you see any DNS requests in pihole -t when you use a client?
