How do you update the version of Unbound to the latest version? I am currently on version 1.13.1. If you go to Unbound's page, the latest version is 1.16.1?

I've done a "sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade" on my Raspberry Pi and I'm on the latest version OS.

I apologize if this should be located under a better topic. I've searched how to update to the latest version and found a thread from 4 years ago. I tried the method mentioned and it didn't work.

You are at the latest version provided by your OS version.

If you want the latest version of unbound, you will have to download it from the unbound site or compile your own.

How often does Unbound get updated with the OS?

Run below one:

apt changelog unbound

Thanks! It use to be updated quite often. It's been over a year since it received updates.
