Pihole seems to be working but dashboard shows 0

Please follow the below template, it will help us to help you!

If you are Experiencing issues with a Pi-hole install that has non-standard elements (e.g you are using nginx instead of lighttpd, or there is some other aspect of your install that is customised) - please use the Community Help category.

Expected Behaviour:

I expect the dashboard to produce those nice technicolor displays of numbers blocked, etc. I could watch that thing for hours.

Actual Behaviour:

I'm pretty sure ads are being blocked, but the blocks do not appear in the dashboard.

Debug Token:

Don't know what a debug token is, but pihole -d produced a couple of error lines:
[i] dig response: ;; communications error to 2600:9000:5301:9700::1#53: timed out
[<9C><97>] Error: Debian is not a supported distro (Prerequisites - Pi-hole documentation)

I think this is Debian 12, so it should be supported. During installation I noticed a strange thing. It said something like Debian 16 not supported, so I installed with skip version check.

Pi hole and the dashboard were working fine until my RPi died last week. After installing on the new RPi this happened.

I think I was mistaken, or perhaps it's only one machine that it seems to be blocking ads for. On my phone there are lots of ads. The client activity graph on the dashboard looks like a nearly perfect, red, horizontal rectangle.
Oh, now I see what the debug token is. Here it is:

Maybe I should reinstall....

Oh, figured it out. The problem was I didn't put the Pi Hole IP address in the right blank in the router. I had put it somewhere, instead of in the DHCP section.
Sorry for the unnecessary bother.
