PiHole on LXC installation fail

Hi all;

I managed to install PiHole on a Debian 9 which run as LXC under Proxomox.

Error during the install

But during the installation I had this error :
/usr/local/bin/pihole: line 293: pihole: command not found
which is to manage pihole on Fedora ...
and looks like Install fails
NOTE: curl whiptail wget and lsb_release are installed.

Make it run

In any case by running /usr/local/bin/pihole enable Pihole works

I would not mind to share my logs installation file but the only logs I found was
/var/log/pihole-FTL.log and /var/log/pihole.log

If anyone could help me to understand what I is missing on my Debian I'll be very happy :wink:

Make sure you have the path /usr/local/bin in your PATH variable.

just to be sure;

  1. I rebuild the pihole container with a new lxc debian-9 template furnished by proxmox
  2. add /usr/local/bin in /root/.bashrc
  3. reboot
  4. than install pi-hole as usual

it works perfectly without any flaws or twist :wink:
