pihole-FTL using 100% CPU after 10-12 hrs of runtime.

Expected Behaviour:

Expecting Pihole to not use 100% of CPU every 10-12 hours

  • Pihole LXC on ProxMox 9.1.1
  • Intel NUC
    • CPU(s) 8 x 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz (1 Socket)
    • Memory 64 GB
    • 2 TB SSD

Actual Behaviour:

After about 10-12 hours of runtime pihole-FTL maxes out CPU utilization. I have seen others recommend recreating the FTL database, and I have tried that, but the issue persists.

I have rebuilt pihole from scratch twice now, and loaded a config file that I had from a version that I had upgraded from 5.x to 6.2.2. This issue has only started since upgrading to 6.2.2. I have looked in the logs and cannot see anything that indicates an issue.
