Pihole doesn’t block adds

I had to reinstall the OS in the raspberry 5 two days ago (of course, pihole afterwards). I kept the configuration as I had it before and even added some list to the blocking list (used pihole -g afterwards).

Expected Behaviour:

Adds should be blocked.

Actual Behaviour:

As I am just and average user, I didn’t do anything else than install, set the dns at the router and add the lists.

When I navigate the internet (newspapers is what I use to corroborate that pihole is blocking) I still can see most adds.
