Frohes neues Jahr an alle!
Ich habe meine Pi Hole erfolgreich ins Netz eingebunden und auch im Router BEIDE DNS Server auf den Pi umgeleitet. Allerdings werde ich auch mit geleertem Browsercache so von wetter.de begrüßt (siehe Screenshot):
Da stimmt doch was nicht! Außerdem kann ich weiter surfen, wenn ich den Pi vom Netz trenne. Das sollte doch gar nicht gehen, wenn der DNS(Pi Hole im Router eingetragen als DNS) ausfällt, oder?

You are correct. If the Pi-Hole is your only DNS server, if you disconnect it from the network you should lose internet connection.
I loaded the same site and saw no ads. I suspect that there is a setting in your browser or client that is allowing some of the DNS traffic to bypass Pi-Hole. The tools in this thread may help you determine which traffic is not being processed:
OK, thanks for your reply. Got it to work by using the inbuilt DHCP and skipping my crappy router's DHCP completely. works fine now!
