Pi-Hole running on a My Cloud PR2100?

Has anyone tried running Pi-Hole on a NAS? Specifically a WD My Cloud PR2100? I've run out of network ports so I need to shut down the Raspberry Pi but don't want to give up Pi-Hole. I've searched around a bit but I'm not finding much relating to running it on a NAS. Any help appreciated!

Does your Pi have wireless capability? If so, shift it to wireless if your network supports wireless. The performance difference between wired and wireless will not be noticeable.

I understand that but I'd like to reduce the clutter in my office too. The NAS will have to run at all times so getting Pi-Hole to run on it would be one less device.

Some users have found success running it in Docker containers or chroot on their NAS instances however it is VERY device and OS specific
