Pi-hole replacing current dnsmasq setup

Hi, everyone,
This might be answered already but I didn't see it in my search. And this might be the wrong subforum also. But, here goes...

I have a raspberry pi setup with dnsmasq providing the DNS/DHCP (v4 and v6) for my home network. If I wanted to install pi-hole on that system, will it keep my current confugurations, or will I have to redo everything? Also, my IPv6 is provided by Hurricane Electric (not my ISP as others have set up). Will there be any special changes that I need to make in order to get pi-hole to work with that?

Thanks and have a great day.
Patrick.

Pi-hole has dnsmasq embedded in pihole-FTL. All existing dnsmasq configurations will continue to work with Pi-hole, but you will need to stop and disable the existing dnsmasq process so pihole-FTL can bind to port 53.
