If you want it don't give up.. Just be prepared to devote your free time for a while..
I asked for help once on dd-wrt.com while I was setting my network up. Didn't even get a response.
Shoot for a stateless configuration. GOOD LUCK!!
Thank you, and I appreciate your help. I have a BSc in Comp SCi, and a Masters in Information Security, along with a CISSP. I understand the theory behind things (mostly), but not the actual technical "how-to" which is why I play around with my home lab.
That's why I originally was going with ULA allocation within my LAN for IPv6 - I think I was trying to force NAT for IPv6.
Thank you. I think I have the time. I could sit here in front of my PC and spend 8 hours tinkering with it if I needed to. I've read a lot of guides/tutorials out there and there's been a lot of conflicting information, and none of them have spelled certain things out as clear as you have. Which I appreciate.
I think that was because of my ignorance on how IPv6 doesn't use DHCP, along with how my router has its IPv6 "stuff" hidden away where I didn't expect it.
Thanks for the support I'll get it eventually. I'm making slow progress.
