Pi-hole not blocking any ads

I have no idea why it is not working now

nslookup flurry.com
Server: UnKnown
Address: fe80::deef:9ff:fef2:60d6

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: flurry.com
Addresses: 212.82.100.153

74.6.136.153

That's strange ... I have a Nighthawk R9000 myself and that's how I have it set-up and it works.

One thing you could do (as you don't really need it within your LAN), is disable IPV6 ...

While I understand the need for it (as a whole), I think that if one doesn't have a solid IPV6 understanding, it causes more issues than good.

R6400 here you want to use the link local fe80

Yes ipv6 is a bit complex

Link locals can bind per interface. If you really need IPv6, and you don't in most cases, then go with a LUA. But really unless you have an absolute need for IPv6 then just disable it and save the headache.

I can not find the option to disable IPv6 where should I be looking?

n.v.m I'm blind

And sorry, that's ULA not LUA.

See ignorance I can't keep all of the address names straight LOL

So I disabled the IPv6 on my netgear but when I do nslookup flurry.com

I still show IPv6 wtf?

It's cached.

Do a release/renew and disable IPV6 on the client also

I did ipconfig /release and renew still does it

Did you remove the DNS v6 from the router and reboot

Yes can't hurt

That did the trick indeed nslookup flurry.com timesout now
